Following the statements made by President Erdoğan, the amount of rent assistance in Istanbul has been increased. Accordingly, the urban transformation rent assistance, which was 3 thousand 500 liras in Istanbul, was increased to 5 thousand 250 liras.
“HALF FROM US” CAMPAIGN
Speaking about the urban transformation projects, President Erdoğan said: “My first good news is the campaign on urban transformation, half of which is from us. As the state, we will cover half of the cost of the converted houses. We will cover the cost of up to 750 thousand TL for 100 square meters 2 + 1 apartment and up to 900 thousand TL for 3 + 1. 10 percent in advance and the rest will be paid off with a maturity of 10 years. There will be 5625 lira installments for 750 thousand borrowings, 10 percent of which are paid in advance, and 6750 lira installments for 900 thousand liras. Even the citizen who does not have money saved in his pocket will borrow on favorable terms with the contribution. We provide a loan facility of 1 million 250 thousand liras with an interest rate of 0.74 to those who want to transform their homes themselves. We are increasing the amount of rent assistance in Istanbul from 3,500 liras to 5,250 liras.”
