THEY WILL OPEN THE ZIGANA TUNNEL BEFORE THE RAMADAN FEAST
Noting that the construction of the July 15 Martyrs’ Bridge in Adana was also initiated by the Adana Metropolitan Municipality, Karaismailoğlu said, “Unfortunately, the CHP mentality is not only in Istanbul. There are also in Adana, Aydın and İzmir.”
Karaismailoğlu stated that they will open this bridge, which is demanded by the people of Adana, towards the end of April, and said that the bridge was built entirely with local and national engineering.
Karaismailoğlu stated that they have also finished the Zigana Tunnel and aim to open it before the Ramadan Feast, underlining that the tunnel will be the longest in Europe at 14.5 kilometers. Emphasizing that the project shortens the existing road route by kilometers and buries the difficult conditions of winter in history, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “Such structures have now started to be a bit of ordinary work in Turkey. We have goals. A strong infrastructure is needed to achieve these goals.”
ANKARA-SIVAS WILL BE 2 HOURS BY HIGH-SPEED TRAIN Stating
Ankara-Sivas high-speed train line is again one of the mega projects, Minister Karaismailoğlu noted that the line is 400 kilometers long. Emphasizing that they will open the line to service immediately after the holiday, Karaismailoğlu said:
“We are starting from Ankara. We arrive at Elmadağ, Kırıkkale, Yerköy, Yozgat, Akdağmağdeni, Sorgun, Yıldızeli, and Sivas with 8 stations. Ankara-Sivas will be 2 hours by high-speed train, and Ankara-Yozgat will be one hour. There are 49 tunnels with a length of 67 kilometers in this project.
There are 49 viaducts with a length of 27 kilometers. Such a special project. We are bringing it to Sivas but will not leave it there. We’ll continue from there. Erzincan, Erzurum, Kars. In the coming years, this project will reach Baku. One of the citizens at the table said that if the high-speed train came to Sivas, it would increase migration. Let them ask him to the people of Sivas. Those who are against these investments aspire to management. ”
Karaismailoğlu stated that they will open the AKM-Gar-Kızılay metro in Ankara this month, adding that they will connect all the metros of Ankara with this line.
